The daughter is a lady, and they think that makes her like her mother simply because her mother is a lady, too. But she believes in honor, and chivalry, and in true knights. She has been given a life she would not have chosen, and it takes her a beat too long to separate reality from her dreams. She is from the cold, hard North, but she crafts wishes as though it were summer. These are her father’s teachings, not swordplay, or warfare, or learning to die like a soldier a long time ago. These are the kind of teachings that they carry in their blood.
