Sansa Stark - Jenny Peckham evening 2011

“Lady,” he said, tasting the name. He had never paid much attention to the names the children had picked, but looking at her now, he knew that Sansa had chosen well.
A light, springy outfit for Sansa. Soft and feminine with lots of pretty details!
Outfit for a modern-day Sansa Stark. On the outside sweet and demure, a little dove - but in her heart, a wolf.
Queen you shall be … until there comes another, younger and more beautiful, to cast you down and take all that you hold dear.
I love Cabins’ illustrations more than basically anything, I had such a hard time picking just one to post here.
The daughter is a lady, and they think that makes her like her mother simply because her mother is a lady, too. But she believes in honor, and chivalry, and in true knights. She has been given a life she would not have chosen, and it takes her a beat too long to separate reality from her dreams. She is from the cold, hard North, but she crafts wishes as though it were summer. These are her father’s teachings, not swordplay, or warfare, or learning to die like a soldier a long time ago. These are the kind of teachings that they carry in their blood.
